What's this blog about?

Dear Guests! 💕

We warmly welcome you to the beautiful island of Pag! We are Iwona, Robert and our 11-year-old daughter Mia from Poland, who have just finished their stay here.

We have an extraordinary offer for you – a wonderful holiday adventure! 🐱

During our holiday, fate would have it that we met a stray cat in advanced pregnancy, who became particularly attached to our daughter Mia. Unexpectedly, the time came for her to give birth, which surprised us greatly!

The birth was complicated, and it turned out that the cat needed immediate help.

This is where the wonderful Lisa from Austria came in! 👼

Lisa was staying in the apartment next door with her mother at the time. She didn't hesitate for a moment. It was she who drove the exhausted cat to the vet in the morning after many hours of labour, during which the first two kittens were born, and she no longer had the strength for the next ones...

The cat's condition was critical. Thanks to Lisa's quick reaction, the cat survived and underwent a caesarean section, during which one more kitten was born. Unfortunately, the fourth one could not be saved.

Lisa showed extraordinary care - she did not sleep for the entire first day after the operation, feeding the little kittens with a bottle of special milk all night long. Without her dedication, the little kittens would not have survived. It was also Lisa who gave the cat mum a beautiful name - Emilia.

Meet the cat family:

  • The kittens were born on Friday, 18 July
  • Emila's mother – a wonderful, graceful cat and an exemplary mother (named by Lisa)
  • Melody - a grey tabby, 100% female - according to the vet. Genetically, three colours are only possible in females. She was named Melody by our daughter Mia.
  • Two ginger kittens - waiting for their names from you!
We are very curious to know what their names will be. Be sure to let us know!

Emilia is an extremely affectionate and caring mother who, after her ordeal and having her life saved, is immensely grateful for every gesture of kindness. She is currently feeding her kittens and needs about 400 grams of wet food per day (4 pouches).

Will you take on this holiday challenge? It could be the most beautiful adventure of your holiday. Watching the little kittens grow is pure joy! The kittens are developing wonderfully, growing day by day!

Hoping for this beautiful story to continue,

Iwona, Robert and Mia from Poland

P.S. If you decide to help, you will find a starter pack of wet food for Emilia in the fridge in the basement! Ask your host, Mrs Marie, she will explain everything to you.

The cat eats all wet food without exception, and you can easily buy it at Lorenco and Plodine. We wish you a wonderful holiday: Mia, Iwona, Robert, Lisa
